Stunning pedal! Built with the quality we have come to know and respect from Maxon. As solid as a brick and built with very high quality compnents. Almost silent and transparent in use, true-bypass ensures no signal degradation when switched out.
Sounds:
Awesome shimmering clean sounds with any guitar. I managed to get a wicked Andy Summers sound that had the guy doing the PA that night drooling! I am also now using it as a transparent lead boost on my Marshall DSL100, it just kicks the frond-end hard enough to give me that extra power and sustain I wanted.
Summary:
Compressors are quite often overlooked, especially by newer guitarists in favour of delays, phasers etc. the reason is that they dont have that instant 'wow' factor, but once you have explored them, you realise how critical they can be to your sound.
